Bio
Peter Salerno is a Partner at Green and Spiegel LLP in Toronto and is Certified as a Specialist in Citizenship and Immigration Law by The Law Society of Ontario. For over a decade, Peter has practiced exclusively in Canadian immigration and citizenship law, advising Fortune 500 employers, emerging companies, non-profit organizations and individuals on strategic, results-driven solutions. He assists clients across the full spectrum of temporary and permanent residence, citizenship and admissibility matters, including applications for temporary resident visas, study permits, work permits, permanent residence, and citizenship.
Peter also represents clients in complex and high stakes matters involving inadmissibility, refusals, and enforcement issues. He has appeared before the Federal Court of Canada, the Ontario Superior Court, the Immigration Appeal Division and the Immigration Division.
Peter is the co-author of “Temporary Entry Into the Canadian Labour Market” (Emond, 2021, 2026) and has regularly taught the Temporary Entry and Citizenship courses in Queen’s University’s Graduate Diploma in Immigration and Citizenship Law.
